The Sewing Spot is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting East African immigrant women in their journey towards empowerment and self-sufficiency. Our organization offers comprehensive sewing training programs designed to equip women with the skills needed to pursue careers in fashion, tailoring, and entrepreneurship. By fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment, we not only teach sewing techniques but also build a community where women support and inspire each other.
Our mission is to empower East African immigrant women by providing them with valuable sewing skills and resources. We aim to create a supportive community where women can gain confidence, economic independence, and a sense of belonging through the art of sewing. By offering training, mentorship, and access to sewing equipment.
